About Us

Zulay Joa

Zulay has been an educator for 17 years. For the past 10 years Mrs. Joa has been the STEM instructor and coordinator for grades K-5 in MCPS. Throughout her career Mrs. Joa has received the Excellence Teacher Award and the Program Excellence Award through the Technology and Engineering Educators Association of Maryland.

Debbie Vanegas

Debbie was born and raised in Kensington, Maryland. She worked for 32 years in Montgomery County Public Schools teaching elementary art. Mrs. Vanegas teaches children's art classes at Brookside Gardens, Robotics camps with the Housing Opportunity Commission, Blooming Artist Camp and Step-by-Step paint classes in Virginia and Maryland.
